Rain Plan

If the weather doesn't cooperate, the ceremony will move indoors to the clubhouse.

Attire

Dress code: "Coastal cocktail.” The ceremony is outdoors by the ocean, so bring a light layer for the evening breeze and choose shoes that work on an outdoor terrace.

Getting Onto the Island (important!)

Seabrook Island is a private, gated community. Every car needs a gate pass to get onto the island, and the pass has to stay on your dashboard while you're there.

  • Staying in a rental on Seabrook: your rental company handles your pass and will email you instructions before you arrive. There is a per-car fee.

  • Staying off-island and coming for the wedding: Your name will be on the event list at the gate. Tell the officer you're attending the Porter-Williamson wedding at the Club.

  • Leave a few extra minutes for the gate, especially right before the ceremony.
